Chichester is a city in West Sussex on the south coast of England. The city’s history as a settlement dates back to Roman times and is home to a 12th century cathedral as well as some of the oldest churches and buildings in Great Britain.
Chichester is a local government oasis with three levels of government managed from the city and also a transport hub and cultural centre with a Festival Theatre and two art galleries.
The city is home to Chichester Jazz Club. The Chichester Real Ale & Jazz Festival is a regular summer fixture although the musical spectrum has expanded considerably in recent years.
