Welcome to George’s Regis Jazz Band
Wishing Everyone Happy New Year For 2012!
We have played some really great gigs in 2011 and our calendar is looking busy for 2012 even this early in the year! Did you see us playing on New Year’s Eve at The Fish House?
Line up: Peter Dorday (trumpet / vocals), Eddie Brockwell (clarinet), Jim Heath (banjo / vocals), Alan Kennington (double bass) and George Bennett (drums).
How To Find Our Live Jazz Venues In West Sussex
We are regular visitors to a number of pubs and restaurants in the area. You will find full details of the venues on our calendar of events. Some of our regular venues get very busy so it is a good idea to book if you want to eat.
We’re a very friendly bunch and we do our best to play as many requests as possible. We play New Orleans and Dixieland jazz in a traditional style although we are known to be quite flexible when the need arises! We have a new band line up available – so take a look at The George Regis Trio! Here is the Trio playing lunch time jazz on New Year’s Day at the Leconfield Restaurant, Petworth.
Line up: Ken Morgon (piano), Trevor Britton (double bass) and George Bennett (drums).
Private Party Bookings
We are available for hire to play our familiar line-up of New Orleans & Dixieland jazz in the West Sussex area at weddings, parties, barbecues, christenings, festivals, fêtes, all manner of outside occasions and funerals. Contact us with your dates in good time so you can look forward to your jazz band on the day!
Wedding Entertainment
We have played at a considerable number of weddings over the years and newly-wed couples and guests enjoy having a jazz band to brighten the day. Make sure that you reserve us early to make sure of your wedding entertainment on your special day.
Corporate Events
Our jazz band has been involved in a number of corporate hospitality events over the years. We have played for store openings and last year we were even involved with the launch of Greyhound Buses in the UK. We were even featured briefly on regional and national television during the Greyhound launch!
If you have room for an additional New Year’s resolution, why not decide to come and see George’s Regis Jazz Band for some great entertainment?
